We understand that there can be a bit of a learning curve when incorporating new technology like this, which is why we've come up with an extensive set of materials and resources that will get you up and running in no time.
We've developed an extensive eBook that explains every step of the DevKit development process. Each chapter teaches a new principle about application development, and you can use the step-by-step practice activites to engage your students in a hands-on environment.
Each activity in the DevKit eBook has a corresponding YouTube video that you can follow along with as a class. As you move through the book, you'll find that there are more and more opportunities to add some customization, and for your student to experiment with their newfound knowledge.
There's nothing better than a good old PowerPoint presentation! We will provide you with a number of slides that you can use to structure your lectures. They highlight some of the more important features of the eBook and teach you how to build some pretty cool apps from start to finish.
These assessments are partially-completed DevKit apps that are missing something that was covered in the corresponding section, and it is the job of the student to use the material from that section to add in that missing content and submit the completed app to the device of the instructor.
Sometimes, you might want to get your students off their devices and working with pen and paper. We've got you covered! Each chapter in the eBook has a worksheet that contains puzzles, multiple choice questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, and other assessments that will gauge your students' understanding of the chapter.
We understand that different classrooms have different needs, so we will customize a specific set of lesson plans that you may follow to get the most out of DevKit in your particular environment. We'll start by asking how many students you have, how much time you have, how old your students are, and what your end goal is.
With the release of The Brain, we have decided to make DevKit and our curriculum content 100% free for this coming school year. Our goal
is to get as much use and feedback as possible, so that we may improve upon this brand new technology and better understand
how it needs to work.
To use it, simply download DevKit from the iOS App Store and starting working! It's that easy. When you do, a 1-year license number will automatically be installed on the device, so you're "Free Trial" will be guaranteed for one full calendar year. Download it quickly before we come to our senses!
If you have any questions, please Contact Us. Enjoy!
To use the DevKit application in your classroom, you'll need one license number per device that you use (not necessarily per student that you teach, as you can use the same device for multiple classes). Our license numbers provide unrestricted access to all features of the application for you and your students. Take a look at the following pricing models for our license numbers!
